FAQ's

How much does a whole beef cost?

Since this is a whole animal, the estimated final cost will depend on the weight. Unlike other bulk beef suppliers, we charge per pound of cut and wrapped beef, so you aren't paying for any bones or fat.

The estimated total cost of a full beef is between $4,290-$4,510. This amounts to $11/lb of TAKE-HOME beef, or roughly $5.22/lb hanging weight (processing costs included).

What cuts do I get in a whole beef?

We offer two standard cutting options for whole beefs that you can choose from, or you may customize for an additionl charge.

Cutting Option 1 includes:

  • Boneless Ribeye Steaks (20-24)
  • Sirloin Steaks (16-20)
  • Flat Iron Steaks (4-6)
  • Top Round Steaks (20-24)
  • Skirt Steaks (8)
  • Flank Steak (2)

*Tenderloin steaks are cut 1.5" thick, all other steaks are cut 1" thick

If neither of these options suit you, you may also customize for an additional $50.

Do you grass finish or grain finish your cattle?

Our cattle spend the majority of their lives grazing on pasture grass and then for the last 120 days are given a mixture of local grains. This method ensures happy cattle and the most flavorful and tender beef.

Do you use antibiotics or hormones on your beef?

Nope! At Wyoming Pure your beef is always antibiotic and hormone free.

Can you ship my beef?

Yes, we can ship your whole beef nationwide. If you choose to ship your beef, we will adjust your invoice to include shipping costs. We recommend beef not be in transit for more than 3 days. For an estimate of specific shipping costs, please reach out to us at info@wyomingpure.com.
